Camp food is great food!
Campers are served an all-you-can-eat, buffet style breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack each full day at camp. Camp meals are on a twelve-day rotation, so with just a few exceptions, campers won’t have the same meal twice in any camp session. Meals at Sandy Hill have a reputation for being healthy, kid-friendly, and delicious! Scroll to the bottom of the page to learn about allergies and special dietary needs.

Allergies and Special Dietary Needs
With over 400 campers at camp each session, we have many campers with a variety of allergies, sensitivities, and special dietary needs. The most common are peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, and lactose. Our summer menu is almost completely nut free with the primary exception of foods that are processed in facilities that also process nuts. Note that our campus is not nut free in general as we serve many candies in our camp store that contain nuts. At each meal, we have a serving table with ingredient lists for all items on the menu, and one of our special dietary needs chefs is available at every meal for consultation.
We also cater to many special dietary needs including vegetarian and gluten-free as well as many others. If you have specific questions about your camper’s special dietary needs, please email our Food Services Coordinator at food@sandyhill.com or call our office at (410) 287-5554.
